Meaning of advocate:

Supports (underline)

For the first time I felt loved through the emotional pain. I felt supported and like I wasn’t crazy and all that I’m going through someone can relate. Someone that can relate and show support. Someone inside the boxing bring with me. Them taking a punch and telling me to hold on and what to do next before the next punch goes my way. No longer did I feel like I’m in a fish bowl and everyone looking into the fish bowl or passing me by. I felt hope. A hope that didn’t just come from within as I lay on the ground beaten up and bloody. But a hope from someone that is pushing through like me. I wasn’t on survival mode but we got this together mode. A when you fall I’ll pick you up and hold you and take you through the forest because I know where all the pitfalls are.

Your guiding hand whether it be through someone you’ve already come out of or are going through is priceless to someone else.
